Stefanie Butschek has trained as a professional photographer in Munich, Germany. She has been working as a freelance photographer for magazines and newspapers since 1998, running her own studio.
Her highly acclaimed exhibition Meine Wurzeln, mein Weg (“My Roots, My Path“) telling the stories of teenagers with different cultural backgrounds was shown in the Munich Ministery for Social Affairs and the Ingolstadt Ministry for Cultural Affairs (with the German Federal President expressing his gratitude), as well as the Munich School of Art.
